HOLA!

Dear all,

Well, it's been a while since I was able to write anything online. Thank goodness I keep a diary! I've missed blogging and I've missed catching up with all my blogging friends. But there is great hope on the horizon - I may be given the luxury of time back very soon. There are exciting plans ahead for me which will entail me being able, at least for most of the week, to work from home. This will give me back 2.5 hours of my day otherwise spent travelling. An extra 1 hour to add to this will be the lack of me having to get dressed and cleaned up. Nice. Smelly Mermaid. Mmm... arome du home-working writer. Nom de Fume.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Anyway, I want to thank you all who kindly sponsored me in my walk in Cuba, and who sent me kind wishes and thoughts. It was a fantastic success, and really life-changing. I will tell you more about Cuba in Cuba part ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE AND SIX. AND SEVEN.

Believe me, there are LOADS of photos for you to snore your way through. So be prepared for an onslaught.

PS. Oh yes, the mermaid has also found a mer-man.

Welcome back, Mermaid! Glad to hear you'll be working from home, but don't become a loafer! Is he "a" mer-man or "the" mer-man?

Hola!

2.5 hours!? I would be institutionalized if I spent that much time commuting.

My oldest Daughter went to Cuba to dance for children in schools and she loved it. I look forward to seeing all of your pictures..the old buildings and cars, cane fields..all the bright colours..pretty cool eh?

Welcome back :)

Ello GB!!! there is no chance of me becoming a loafer - could you imagine me ever becoming lazy!!!???

As for mer-man, well his last name is Wright - is he my Mr Right? I hope so! I have mutual friends/fiends to thank for that one too, in a weird and wonderful way.

A merman. Wow! I hope we will hear more. I'm glad you are back in blogworld. You are the only mermaid I know.

Not sure I really approve of you consorting with a merman but still - it it makes you happy, then that is good.

hey Donn - tour daughter sounds like a cool person - I bet the kids thought she was great! We got to interact with lots of farmers and agricultural workers on our hike. It was really eye-opening!

Hey Electro-Kev! Where has your blog gone? I can't seem to log onto it for some reason. Are you still alive? I wanted to thank you for sponsoring us!

No thanks necessary. 'tis but part of the service, Ma'am. *salutes*

My blog was destroyed as a result of a domestic disturbance.

He wouldn't be Cuban, this mer-man?

You can tell by the beard, the effete heels on his boots, or perhaps cigar-stained teeth.

Welcome back, anyway. Hasta la vista.

Moorgate will be a brighter place now Merms!

Can't you do a couple of Sudoku in those spare hours?

Hey Rel. B. He's a nice mer-man, as mer-men go. He bought me a pair of jeans! New! And it wasn't even my birthday. He just wanted to buy me a present....
This is a complete shock to me, as it's never happened before!

EK - well I am glad that the blog is back. Hope the disturbance has not been too bad?

Idle, no, this mer-man is English and a Policeman to boot. BUT IT IS NOT THE HITCH

Scrobs - Sudoku is beyond my fishy capabilities! But it is good to be back indeed!
