How To Get Free Stuff (Part 2)

For those of you who love a cheesy snack, there are TWO fabulous offers on the Philadelphia website Click here

You can get 50p off a normal-sized tub of the stuff if you do a very short survey; you can also get 30p off a tub of splendips - a great snack or lunch-on-the-go.

They both work well on PCs, but if you are on a Mac, they will work best in Safari as Firefox won't print them out on the MaCoupon downloader.

Do you have any tips on tax avoidance rather than fat avoidance ?

Haha! Tax avoidance? No sir! That's illegal!

I know a few ways to mitigate tax and make the most of the tax allowances we have - have you started looking at your ISA? You can invest as little or as much cash as you like, up to the limit of £3,600 before the end of the tax year, which will help you use the most of your reliefs (and the income within the ISA wrapper does not have to be stated in any tax returns).

A good way to feel good about the amounts of tax you pay is to have your employer assign you the wrong tax code so that when you do your tax return it turns out you have paid too much!

Well that would be a fortunate mistake indeed - if the tax office can get it right first time round! I'd rather not have to pay the big chunk of tax in the first place :)

Maybe I should go to Switzerland?
